Went to Cj last night for the band concert as ushers

And i do look quite smart wearing the sch blazer

Which of course may be ugly, but it all boils down to the person wearing it in the end right?

And i just stood at the door with ys tearing tickets and giving out the programme sheet

Oh, and i saw qte a few familiar faces, Kamesh and gang, Joshua long and Youqin

Cj is still much bigger than Aj, though the facilities are as old, but the big open spaces more than make up for the oldness luh

The cj ushers were also qte nice to talk to, woo, would love to meet them agn the next time i pop up in cj for some reason

And i had trng today too, learnt qte a few things from the coach, and it was fun too, the crossing part, all the joking around

I need a nice computer game, any one got S.T.A.L.K.E.R or F.E.A.R to lend me?

Fever is terrible

First it causes your whole body to ache, and than it burns u up

And when u have flu, it makes the fever even worse

This sucks...

I practically spent the past 2 days sleeping in bed, yes, lying down and not moving at all, all thanks to the flu med

Which according to the doc, only makes u sleep, as that is how u recover from flu, cause there is no medicine to treat flu directly

Sniff, someone save this from this bed ridden misery...

I've been doing some thinking lately,

About some stuff,

And after so many people telling me i should have done it ages ago

I ask myself, why do you still do it then, do i see anything in this, is it just superficiality?

Ahhh, if only someone could give me an answer in one way or another

Is life making a fool out of me,

Or am i being this little fool clinging on to something called hope in life

Ahh, the new near is arriving soon, signaling the close of the year, and the beginning of the new one

Time kinda flies right?

From the start of JC life, from PAE to JAE and now to this, have i changed through the course of everything?

Not to mention the sec sch to JC transition, i guess i haven't really changed much all the time, as a friend of mine in sec sch, who is now in the same tuition class as me said

" Irvin, you still so childish sia, i thought u will change when u go to JC "

I always think about this, am i really that childish? I guess i just like to have fun most of the time and dun really bother how i carry myself thats all

I have done my fair share of bad things, as well as good things this year, and learnt alot too, mostly about life that is, making lots of good friends, friends which always seem to offer you a way out of the mess that you always find yourself trapped in

And teachers, lets not forget them too, being idiots that do not think before we act, we always get ourselves into deep trouble, esp the guys in my class. Hahaha, ponning lecture and getting caught, not wanting to study and regretting during promos. I feel that this year has given me really good teachers, that really understand and really care about us. And because of them, i feel all the more compelled to be a better person. I may not sound as though i mean it but i really do, from the bottom of my heart, yes...

I always wanted to be able to think as an adult, to you know, be more mature? But i always can't seem to do it, maybe i'am not meant to do it, whatever. But still, i get easily jealous of other people, and it doesn't make it any simpler for me. Maybe god has a masterplan (i'am not a believer), which deems that i won't have any easy way out of this, but still, i really envy others in terms of things which i can't seem to get, maturity, results and relationships, love etc.

This really sucks doesn't it?

And friends keep saying, what will come will come eventually, but i'am not those patient kind of guy. Throw me into a game, and i'll run straight at the enemy guns blazing, screw the planning and stuff, just get things done right? Could'nt life be just like that, but yeah, its not meant to be, its about making choices, and thinking of going about to do what you are supposed to do, and how to go abt doing it, 4 years in NCC taught me to look at the big picture, and to keep the objective in mind. But it really does not make things simpler for me as it is, why can't things seem to go my way like others have theirs like the way they want it to be?

Still, i can think of an answer to that, its all a part of life nad being mature about facing them. I guess that this life ain't meant to be easy for me, and whining and groaning pitifully here won't really work right, the wrong stuff won't mend it self and u don't get the person u like. Life is more than that, i'am sure of it, won't you people agree with me?

Although things do seem hopeless for me, why do i still persist, people keep telling me to wake up and stuff, but i don't seem to. Let me let u in on a fact about me, i actually am a person who does not want things to not go his way, NCC taught me that, for the good and for the worse. Hit me and i will go down, only to stand right back up to kick u in the balls, like i did with Mr Ng back in PHS, but yea, figuratively that is. Even how hopeless it seems, i don't want to give up on things i believe in, because, one way or another, i still see hope in it. Call me an idiot, whatever. And finally because i really like you, it rly makes no difference that i mention this here, i don't think many ppl read anyway.

And it is more than enough reason for me to carry on struggling, because i will always manage to stand up no matter how badly beaten i am, that is a trait of mine that no one can take away from me. Its a good thing and most of the time, i see it as something bad that i can't get rid of. So to face things in a mature way will be what i have to do from now on.

What will come will eventually come, yes, i believe now

The ushering of the new year will be another step for me to become a better person, and i swear i will make it.

Ahh, been staying at home more often the past 2 days

Trying to finish up the holiday homework

And i caught Angus, thongs and perfect snogging with the tuition ppl, it was a nice movie, though its kinda disgusting to see how desperate the girls were in the movie, stalking guys till....

Leading to the question, are all girls like that? Hehehehe

But after watching the movie, i have this sudden urge to travel to England, the environment is like so different there compared to puny tiny Singapore

And im sure many of us would agree right

Spent today doing geography holiday homework, screw it sial, so many essays to write, how to finish one?

Only those super duper muggers will manage to complete it all luh...

And i'am addicted to the song ultraviolet from the movie which i got from honggg

So ytd was a blast at Sentosa yeah

Finally got to meet up with the rest of them, FUN!! Captains ball with Mitchell being the catcher, wow, he has good hands, with a 90% catch rate, maybe its the consumption of protein powder everyday?

Never had so much fun at the beach for so long, and true to our platoon history, we nvr took photos during the course of all our fun, except that group photo below. But it makes all the catching up better doesn't it?

And we went central mall to have dinner afterwards, at Manhattan Fish Market, its nt that bad, but i would still prefer fish and co.

It was rly fun catching up with the rest of them, and taking frequent strolls around the beach, i swear theres this cute/hot group of girls having a picnic!!!

Enough of bikinis and stuff yea, opps, bikinis d:

And aft ytd, I realized i don't hav a singlet to wear, soooo

I want a num singlet, but it costs a bomb yeah...who has any friends working there? Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeee, guess i have to rely on Mitchell to help on this one

Oh, and i found out where to buy that studded belt, but its at peninsula plaza, so far from smb, but maybe i can make a trip down tml?

And theres a movie outing with the tuition peeps tml!

Ok, continuing from ytd, i spent alot in Malaysia yeah

So, i have to stop spending money on unnecessary items now

Went to the gym today, and i saw Asyraf and Herzad there too

And i did 4 sets of 30kg bench presses, plus 100 sit ups clutching the 10kg weight

Muahahahahaha!!!

Plus i was extremely shagged out at the gym today, asyraf was too, yeah, we should not have stayed out so late during the class outing

Went to mos burger for lunch, and the MOS cheeseburger is nice

Woke up early today for the trip to Johor Baru

And its to beat the morning traffic jam, which we managed to successfully do!

So, after the brief journey there, we ( both my parents and me ) went around looking at clothes and stuff.

Mum went to mango and Dad went to some sports shop, while i went to Topman to look at clothes, and i spent a bomb there...

But its like 16 bucks cheaper there, so i had to do smth about it, bought a black and white checkered shirt and a black striped shirt

Plus a blue jacket

After which, we went to the supermarket there, a gigantic one, to shop for groceries, i bought a pack of salad vegetables, to eat for lunch tml

Than it was lunch at sushi king, smth like sakae, except that its half the price of sakae

Shall update more tml, i wanna sleep...

Went out today, and i bought a pair of shorts from bugis st and a pair of boxers from Topman

Taking a look at my wardrobe, i have a cotton pullover and a vest which i wore once only

Played soccer with Jeriel and Yp just now, and my Nike tempo has been dyed a dirt Grey colour

I can predict that it will tear pretty soon too, as the sole is starting to peel off at the sides

And i thought Nike shoes are durable...

Never mind that,

I will now list my latest desire, which is....

A DOG!

Because, a dog would be able to

1) Keep me company
2) Guard the house
3) Go jogging with its master
4) Irritate the neighbours
5) Snuggle with me ( i love cuddly animals! )

And my dog of choice would be a German Shepherd, or a Husky if i live in a really cold place

A white one too, like BOLT!!

Shepherds are large enough to cuddle, and are fit, which means it can accompany me for jogs, i dun think normal dogs can survive a 7km non-stop run

But as Eli says, i can't even take care of myself, let alone a dog...

Which i think holds true for me

But i wanna a dog...

Good news first!

I GOT THE GOOD IMPROVEMENT AWARD!!

And it automatically grants me $200 which i can put to very good use

I went for a 7km jog today, and it was good, i actually feel active again, not to mention i can lose weight at the same time.

Theres alot to look forward to next week, Sentosa with the NCC dudes, and the Christmas dinner at Jenna's place

Spent the day out yesterday, and i caught The Day The Earth Stood Still

Although the movie sucked, i find it pretty meaningful though, the message the film was trying to convey to us

That mankind continues destroying each other, we are actually killing off the planet, for the future generation.The alien played by Keanu Reeves is extremely STONY, never once did he smile or make an attempt at any facial expression throughout the ENTIRE film. YES, the entire film...

But he is a cool alien nonetheless!

And i bought a checkered jacket for 30 bucks at Bugis Street

Finished apps of integration and integration! Now its sequences, and i hate sequences...

Went to the gym with perh and jh today

And it was extremely productive

I did 60 bench presses, 13.5kg on each side, arrr, it ain't that heavy, so its gonna be 15 on each side the next time i go

Ohai, its been 6 days since the last post, and heres a special birthday post

Shahrin gave me this idea a few months back yea, so kudos to him

Since im 17, here is 17 things you ought to know abt me but i doubt u do

OKAY, here goes,

1- I am still a virgin at 17 =)

2- I have never kissed a girl before in my entire life, yes, never

3- I have also never held a girl's hand before too..

4- I only have 1 gf before, and that is 2 yrs ago

5-I get super nervous in front of the girl i like, and my mind totally blanks out

6- I never confessed face to face to a girl before

7- I have a black belt in taekwondo ( don't mess with me kids )

Finally, a day to rest at home completely

After 2 days of vigorous activity

So i stayed home today, and left only to hunt for food

Eh no, im not a dino, i buy food, not hunt..

If i keep up this dino-normous diet of mine, i will turn fat

But the tough trngs do help, burns off everything, and if theres nothing, it frees up more space in the body!

I wonder if this food burning theory of mine is correct, mmm?

And if you guys are wondering about this rave with dinosaurs, i have no idea myself, i love dinosaurs, especially the T-Rex and the raptors

As in, those fierce dinosaurs that run around chasing ppl in Jurassic Park

We beat yjc today 2-1 in soccer

Their first goal was a clear off side, stupid ref sia...

Though i only played for a short while, it was fun over-all

First game for me and we won! Go aj!

I nearly threw up during fitness trng at bedok resevoir today

I could feel the stuff inside actually climbing up, and than staying there, before going back in my stomach

That terrible feeling =S

Climbing up that slope continuously, is like hell, seriously

But trng was ok today, just that i hate the slope climbing part

Now my legs feel like breaking

So i kayaked around pulau ubin ytd with terrence and daryl

A grand total of more than 22km covered in 3hrs 58 mins( should be less cause we like rested every now and then)

And it was done in single kayaks in a group of 3, never heard before right, such a small group attempting such an expedition

It was a great adventure, when we rounded the bend around frog island, the first bend which signaled the start of the other side of pulau ubin

We rode against the current at first, and my arms were aching like hell when we reached the first bend, but then, the current was with us and it was like an express way, and the waters were clean and bluish green round the first bend, complete with lush green scenery with cliffs and sea gulls

Then, the hellish journey started, when we were at the back of pulau ubin, with malaysia on our right side, coincidentally, the water quality worsened and the areas around ubin were fenced off, i mean, they fenced off the ENTIRE BACK PORTION OF THE BLOODY ISLAND! It was epic, to see the scale of the fencing, something like jurrassic park, just missing the dinosaurs XD

So we rounded bend after bend, i think theres a grand total of like 6 bends? A few kilometers apart each. The view was good, just that it would be nicer without the fences which covered the island. The hard part was when it started to drizzle and i was real scared then, as we were far away form any form of human existence, the fish farms there were mostly empty and the water was dark, real dark. And we ran out of drinking water, luckily, we came across a farm and we asked for water from the owner. And he was a kind old man who helped us refill our water bottles, we were left with like 1/5 of water and daryl, thinking that we had more than enough, actually wanted to cool himself with the water a few kilometers away from the farm...

THANKFULLY I STOPPED HIM, OR GOD KNOWS WHEN WE WOULD HAVE DIED OF THIRST ON THE RETURN JOURNEY

So we rounded the last bend, which was actually a tight formation of rocks and terrence had the brilliant idea of cutting through the rocks, apparently he did not notice the reason as to why i took the long cut around the rock formation. Apparently, the water was filthy, with brownish bubbles and god knows whatever stuff mixed inside. And the currents washed a fair amt of water into his kayak and him as he cut through the rocks.

And did i mention we passed this malaysian oilrig? And the ships docked there were actually discharging water into the sea, bloody hell, they are responsible for pollution la. Malaysians...

And finally, we headed straight for pasir ris beach, and after 20 mins or so, we hit the shore. And that is pulau ubin off my list of places i wanna kayak around.

But dang, im badly burnt...

I bought my Ripcurl jacket, its so cool, and i bought a wallet to replace my old -torn in many parts- wallet i bought in M'sia a few yrs back

Soccer on Sat was a mud bath, diving here and there, whats worse, it was raining during training

Ahh, its chinese A levels tml, and i don't think im ready to face it bravely

Chinese is my Archilles heel, cool use of language eh!

I got C6 for my O levels and i'll be glad for a pass, which is an E here

Both songs are so touching, esp When I'm With You, you guys should check out the MV, i actually felt sad for the couple in the MV

And Dear God by A7X is just as touching, about being away from those you love

And the lyrics and guitar solo is perfect

Don't be turned off by the name of the band, it is as good or even better than those mainstream bands out there

Finally changed my hp today, i think the woman made a mistake in calculating the price of my old hp.

First she said 60 bucks, and then i whimpered in shock,

Its been ages since i felt the sand beneath my feet,

And i had plenty of fun building the sandcastle, seeing it collaspe and rebuilding it only to see it collaspe again =S

And next time, i will not suggest going near the sea again,

And i was mercilessly dragged into the water without consideration weather i had extra underwear or whatsoever.

But still, it was fun d:

Dinner afterwards was great, we ordered like 20 chicken wings, large stingray and a huge plate of kangkong with extra rice

Currently addicted to Funeral For a Friend,

It ain't some death metal band or anything, just because of its name,

Their songs are melodic and full of guitar riffs,

And the lead singer Matt Davies has an awesome voice to boot.

Speaking of voices, i think Matt Davies, Mark Hoopus and Tom Delounge of Blink 182, Deryck Whibley from Sum 41, Gerard Way from MCR and Matthew Bellamy from Muse have the best voices.

Especially Matt, Mark and Tom, thats why blink 182 and Funeral for a Friend nvr fail to score with me

Project Work, ive nvr been so uptight over deadlines up till this week, screwed up pw is man, but i think my grp did a pretty good job with the wr,

We even made a protoype of our website in 3 languages, woohoo!

Went gym with the guys today, then had a few games of pool at AMK

OK, my cousin's birthdae today!

I've gt a cute cousin, and for those who are thinking of what im thinking in my mind, ure gonna be disappointed.

I must say, have made some progress in econs,

Sat at the library from 3 to 6 plus, then from 7.30 till 9

At some corner at bishan library with bryan and weixian

Okie, time for a proper post here,

I had to go to some uuloo place at Paya Lebar to collect the oh so gorgeous class tees,

And the lift there was damn creepy,

it was dark, stuffy and moves real slow, as in sloooooooooooooooow...

Ok, and we had to take a cab back, 34 bucks in total, as we had to stop at amk, hougang, sengkang and than sembawang.

God, and i almost threw up on the journey

Wx was damn wobbly when he got off, i wonder if he made it up to his bock, or if he just collasped at the void deck, rahh

Okok, i musn't be distracted by other stuff, exams first,
